September 30th is International Podcast Day. Podcasts have come a long way since first being invented in 2004. That was around 15 years ago. Imagine! If you were born in 2004, you’d be in 8th or 9th grade in America today.
International Podcast Day is an opportunity for us to celebrate amazing podcasts being created all over the world! And it’s an opportunity to express gratitude to those listeners all over the world who are tuning in.
[Choice 1 - Our listeners are from all over the world including each of the seven continents: North America, South America, Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania, and, yes, even Antarctica!]
[Choice 2 - Our listeners are from over 80 different countries with the most weekly downloads happening in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada!]
[Choice 3 - Our listeners tune in from all over the globe and we are so grateful to know that kids and their grownups are listening as far away as Chile, Nigeria, Iran, Dominican Republic, Ukraine, and Cambodia!]
So to celebrate, we’re making an episode just for you! I mean that. The episode you’re listening to right now is different from the one we made for your friend or your classmate. And that’s because parts of this episode were determined by AI, by artificial intelligence.
